Majad J Habib Co-Founder • Consultant Solicitor • Brand Architect & Growth Strategist
There is a rare kind of legal mind that is as creative as it is forensic, as innovative as it is obsessed with the detail – one that treats the pursuit of justice, not as a process to be managed, but as a cause to be fought with relentless, uncompromising precision from the very first moment.
Majad J Habib is that kind of Lawyer. More than twenty years in serious criminal defence, fraud litigation, and complex business crime – across the UK and internationally, in matters touching the UAE, Cyprus, Nigeria, Pakistan, Morocco, Spain, Egypt, Iran, and China – have produced a legal mind and investigative instinct that operates at a level most practitioners never reach. He has personally been involved in more than 100 cases of national and international media interest: serious fraud allegations worth hundreds of millions of pounds, organised crime operations spanning multiple jurisdictions, and some of the most evidence-intensive criminal litigation the UK Courts have seen.
“Every case I have ever taken seriously has been built on one thing: the absolute refusal to accept that the evidence in front of me is the whole story – and a duty to discover everything that actually took place, including what the prosecution may be hiding, suppressing, or manipulating.”
He is a firm believer that early action is everything. The moment a client suspects a problem is coming – before any arrest, before any charge – Majad works like a detective. Investigating. Collecting. Preserving. Building the complete picture before evidence disappears, before witnesses are reached, and before the prosecution has had a chance to shape the narrative. He applies to Court to freeze assets and evidence. He scrutinises the conduct of every investigating agency. He tracks financial trails across jurisdictions. He finds what others stop looking for.
He is also a profound student of human behaviour – of psychology, body language, motivation, and the patterns people leave behind under pressure. Understanding the human dimension of a case, not just its legal dimension, is what allows him to see what others miss and build arguments that hold up where it matters most.
He incorporated Stuart Miller Solicitors in 2010 and led it as Managing Director for over a decade, building it from a handful of people into one of the country’s most recognised criminal defence practices, handling over 40,000 cases during his tenure.
