Duygu (Dee) holds an honours degree in law and prior to joining Stuart Miller Solicitors spent over ten years as a human rights activist fighting for the political and social rights of various disenfranchised groups. In her criminal defence practice, Dee is a dedicated and conscientious litigator who often acts as an investigator looking for the ‘missing link’. Dee specialises in magistrates’ court defence work and represents clients facing offences such as section 4 & 5 public order offences, ABH, GBH, drug offences, fraud, possession of knives and theft. Dee is fluent in Turkish and also represents clients at the police station.
